CLASSIC & CLASSIC PLUS REFORMER CLASSES

BOOK WITH  ANY REFORMER CLASS CARD


CLASSIC REFORMER PILATES classes can be taken by anyone who has already completed a Introduction to Reformer Course or a series of Private sessions.  

Working  alongside two other people each on a reformer, you will all do the same exercises based on the Classical Pilates Reformer repertoire. Jenny Louise will  guide you through each exercise making sure that you are working  correctly and safely, encouraging you to get the best out of the session. Modifications or progressions  will be given as needed.


CLASSIC PLUS (JUMPBOARD) classes  sit somewhere in-between Classic and Dynamic classes,  a brilliant option if you want to work your way up to Dynamic classes slowly or if you like working with the Jumpboard but not quite ready for the full body workout and strength training that comes with the Dynamic classes.

DYNAMIC REFORMER CLASSES

 WHAT IS DYNAMIC REFORMER? These classes are energetic and work at a faster pace than Classic Reformer classes, they are aimed at people who wish to increase their endurance and general fitness and should only be taken by people who are free from injury and feeling fit and well.


You will  work alongside two other people all receiving the same FULL BODY WORKOUT.  

The class mixes some classical reformer moves with exercises using the  jumpboard,  and by adding weights, props and a bit of creativity it makes an energetic and exciting workout guaranteed to make you feel great! 

Before signing up for an Dynamic Reformer class it is advisable (but not essential) to have completed

4 - 6  Essential classes or an Introduction course to gain a bit of reformer know how!

PRIVATE 1:1 PERSONALISED REFORMER SESSIONS (Contact Jenny for availability)

REGULAR 1:1 SESSIONS (minimum of 6 sessions over a period of 10 weeks)

Each session is 45 mins 

1:1 sessions are ideal if you require more personalised guidance and attention. Whether you are preparing for a special event and need to work on specific muscle groups,  or if you want to reduce/prevent pain,  improve muscular imbalances or simply make a positive lifestyle change, Jenny Louise will help you achieve your goals.

You will receive a balanced workout focusing on your personal requirements. To receive full benefits from your Reformer sessions you will need to attend regularly - ideally at least once a week.

The studio holds a strict Cancellation Policy of 24 hours notice. 

You can cancel a class on the booking system up to 24 hours before the class, and book a different class within the expiry date of your Class Card 

Bookings that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice cannot be refunded in any way

  • WHAT DO I WEAR FOR REFORMER PILATES? Please wear comfortable but tight fitting clothes suitable for exercise i.e.   'T' shirt or top with leggings /tracksuit bottoms/shorts. Long hair should be tied up.


  • WHAT ABOUT FOOTWEAR Leave your outdoor shoes at the door.  Please wear "grippy" socks  such as Toe Sox while exercising in the Garden Studio   

                  .

  • DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?  Bring a small towel and a water bottle  it is important to keep hydrated during exercise.


  • HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS? Click on any of the BOOK buttons to go to the online booking system I use called GYMCATCH . Once you have registered you can purchase classes, sessions & courses. Use the calendar to find the days/times you wish to book and check their availability.  If the session you want is available follow the prompts to book the sessions you want and pay using the credits on your class card.


  • WHERE DO I PARK?  1:1 clients can park on the drive as there is usually space for at least one or two cars.  Start times of classes and courses are staggered to avoid too many cars trying to park at the same time. If there is space please do park on the drive, if not there are no parking restrictions on Halsford Park Road but please respect the neighbours driveways and avoid parking on the grass verges. Thank you.


  • HOW LONG IS MY SESSION? All Reformer sessions are 45 mins long, please only arrive a max of 5 minutes before your session,  as there isn't a waiting room you will need to wait in your car.


  • WHERE IS THE GARDEN STUDIO? The Garden Studio is in the back garden of 92 Halsford Park Road. Enter through the side gate and follow the path to the bottom of the garden where you will find the studio.


  • CAN I DO PILATES WHILE PREGNANT?  You can do Reformer Pilates while pregnant, however I personally do not teach prenatal Pilates at the Garden Studio but I am happy to recommend someone who does.
